There are three main standing sexual positions mentioned in the Kama Sutra positions. The Karma Sutra positions mentions that although there are some lovers that have soft beds they still prefer to experiment with more adventurous positions. The standing Karma Sutra positions are some of the more adventurous positions.
Before reading on, make sure that you know your physical limitations before trying these positions. They might sound exciting, but they can be awkward to get into and out of these positions. It will be even more awkward to explain to someone how you got your strained back or hamstring.
Kama Sutra Position – Knee – Elbow
The position is done much simpler and safer when you have assistance of a support structure such as a wall. This is a very erotic Karma Sutra position to experiment with. You lift your lover by passing your elbows under their knees and gripping her buttocks. She then throws her arms around your neck and hangs on.
For this position there are a lot of possibilities for those that are athletic. If you’re out of shape though, you might want to start doing some exercise and training.
Karma Sutra Position – Stag
This is a leaning Karma Sutra position that provides for a very sensual experience for both partnersr. It is accomplbished by having the woman stand with her back to her partner. This position can be assisted by leaning against a steady structure such as a wall while the man approaches her from behind. He then joins with her and they both make whatever motions suit their needs.
A variation on this would be that the woman leans forward at the waist and the braces herself while touching the ground.
Kama Sutra Position – Tripod
With this position you stand facing each other. The man grabs one of her legs and she wraps it around his body while he enters her. This way there is a total of 3 legs on the floor for this aptly named, Tripod position.
For the more adventurous the lady can try and rest her heel on the back on his knee or rest her foot on her partners chest just above his heart.
